Diet; Food and eating habbits:Butterflies survive on "nectar" plants, some nectar plants are the butterfly bush, the beauty bush, sunflowers, lilacs, snapdragons, and zinnias. They can be found searching for nectar plants near damp patches, dung, rotting fruit and carcasses.
Predators:Butterfly's are defenceless insects and very fragile. Their main predators include birds, spiders, reptiles and other insects.

Birth, Offspring:Butterflies lay their eggs on plants which caterpillar (when hatched) will feed on.
